Measure and Beryl were invited to join the opening ceremony of HKEIA Da Li Primary School in Guangdong Mou Ming.

Da Li Primary School was founded in 1889. There were 14 classes with total 800 students and 25 teachers. The school building was full of crack because of lacking repair. It would be dangerous if there is heavy rain. The Government has identified the school building as unsafe, the dorm for teacher and the teaching facilities were so bad that the teaching quality was seriously affected.

Referred by China Candlelight Educational Fund, HKEIA has donated RMB$280,000 to rebuild the school. The new school building is 1,220m2  large, there are 12 teaching rooms and 3 offices. Moreover 300 sets of tables and chairs and 2 basketball stands are added.

All of the students and teachers gathered together on 6 Sep to join the opening ceremony. All of them are pleased to see the new school, and stationery and gift were also presented to the student.
